Shane Timothy Dankoski to Rat Out Jon Bacon Killers?

On January 5 Shane Timothy Dankoski appeared in New Westminster Supreme Court and pleaded guilty to one count of “enhancing the ability of the said criminal organization to facilitate or commit an indictable offence in the murder of Jonathan Bacon and the attempted murder of James Riach, Larry Amero, Leah Hadden-Watts and Lindsay Black.”

Dankoski was involved with Manjinder Hairan, Jujhar Khun-Khun, Jason McBride and Michael Jones. Manjinder Hairan was shot to death in January 2013 in Surrey. Dankoski was sentenced to two years in jail for his role in the 2011 Kelowna murder conspiracy.

Police won't comment on Dankowski’s charge, conviction, plea deal, or say why the matter wasn’t released to the public.

Dankoski, 31, was an associate of the late Sukh Dhak and his brother Gurmit. Sukh Dhak was shot to death in Burnaby in 2012, while his brother was gunned down at Metrotown mall in 2010.

Dankoski was charged in September 2014 with resisting and assaulting a peace officer. In January 2015 he was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm. In March 2015 he was charged with theft and possession of stolen property. In May 2015, he was charged in Surrey with breaching court conditions. In July, he was charged with assault. All of his outstanding charges were stayed in January 2016.
