 | Courtenay resident Bryce Cameron McDonald, who refused to reveal the location of at least 30 missing firearms, was sentenced to more than three years in prison on Monday for a dozen gun-related convictions. McDonald was sentenced to 40 months in prison and a lifetime ban on possession of firearms.
McDonald, 34, was convicted in April of 12 charges, including careless storage of a firearm, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and storing a firearm contrary to regulations. | Anti-gang police raided his home three years ago and found 19 firearms and cocaine. What they didn't find was 30 other restricted weapons McDonald had purchased. |
