Bryce Cameron McDonald pulls 40 months

Courtenay resident Bryce Cameron McDonald, who refused to reveal the location of at least 30 missing firearms, was sentenced to more than three years in prison on Monday for a dozen gun-related convictions. McDonald was sentenced to 40 months in prison and a lifetime ban on possession of firearms. McDonald, 34, was convicted in April of 12 charges, including careless storage of a firearm, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and storing a firearm contrary to regulations.
Anti-gang police raided his home three years ago and found 19 firearms and cocaine. What they didn't find was 30 other restricted weapons McDonald had purchased.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team found a bag with 3 guns near 76th Avenue in Surrey on Sept. 17, 2013. They traced one of them back to McDonald.

The judge expressed grave concern over the guns that vanished and found McDonald's explanation “strange and probably sinister” and characterized it as "after-the-fact fabrication". Police said he had links to an organized crime group. His Facebook page is plastered with Hells Angels members and HA supporters.
