 | Dominican national Robinson Rojas-Rosario, 32, who works at a car wash in Queens, New York, told police he had packages of rat poison, not 15 kilos of fentanyl when he was arrested.
Bail was set at $2 million after his arraignment on a fentanyl trafficking charge. Rojas-Rosario attempted to enter the country illegally through Puerto Rico in 2013 and charges are pending against him. Prosecutors noted if Rojas-Rosario did make bail he would be immediately apprehended by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. | |
