 | Jarrod Bacon was convicted in 2012 of conspiracy to traffic cocaine after being caught in an undercover police sting. He was sentenced to 14 years, minus time served, for a net term of seven years, two months. The sentence was on the high end of the range because Bacon was on bail when he made the coke deal and continued to be unrepentant.
He reached his statutory release date in February after serving two-thirds of his sentence. At this point most inmates get released. In Bacon's case he has a special condition that stipulates he must reside in a halfway house.
