Akron fentanyl dealer pulls 16 years for death

An Akron drug dealer who sold fentanyl to a truck driver who overdosed and died in 2016 was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison. Steven Daniels, 32, sold the drug to Timothy Barnett, who died on April 2, 2016. The 41-year-old's body was found six days later in the cab of a semi-truck, needle in hand. A search warrant at Daniels' home turned up $3,400 in cash, and more than 11 ounces of fentanyl.
