Hamilton home of Mafia boss Pat Musitano shot up

The Hamilton home of mob kingpin Pasquale “Fat Pat” Musitano was riddled with bullets last week. Musitano’s younger brother, Angelo, was gunned down in the driveway of his home on May 2. The home had “roughly a dozen bullet holes” in the front. A number of spent cartridges were recovered at the scene.

Pasquale Musitano is the eldest of three sons born to Mafia boss Dominic Musitano, who forged the clan into one of three Mafia families that ran Hamilton’s underworld for decades. Dominic died of natural causes in 1995 and Pat Musitano is seen as his successor.
Angelo Musitano was shot dead in his pickup truck after pulling into the driveway of his home. Police said his killing was targeted and well organized. It remains unsolved. Pat Musitano appears to have known his family was under threat.

The brothers gained notoriety for the brazen 1997 daytime hit of longtime rival and feared enforcer John “Johnny Pops” Papalia. Both went to prison for the assassination.
