Hells Angels controlled bar loses booze license

The Maverick resto-bar has had its liquor license revoked. The establishment was controlled for a year by two bikers linked to the Hells Angels.

The bar located on the Montée Gagnon in Terrebonne has committed numerous violations. Police seized 434 bottles of unmarked beer in October 2016, some of which even contained insects. In February, 787 cannabis plants and grow equipment were seized by police. The bar manager, Jocelyn Labrie, and Gino Piedimonte were arrested. The latter pleaded guilty and received a two-year prison sentence.
On March 6, the owner of the bar, Yanick Dallaire, told police that he was the owner on paper, but that he was no longer involved in the business.
