Shooting that left man dead, 4 wounded on Toronto bar patio caught on video

A shooting on a bar patio in central Toronto that left one man dead and four other men injured late Monday was targeted.

Police received multiple calls about the sound of gunfire in the area of Queen Street East and Sherbourne Street shortly after 11:17 p.m. A 32-year-old Toronto man succumbed to his injuries. Police called the shooting brazen and callous, saying stray bullets ricocheted through the patio which held nine people at the time.
Homicide detectives say they are looking for a lone gunman who entered Libertarian Public House, a bar at 235 Queen St. E., in a central part of Toronto, and opened fire on the patio. The dead man is Toronto's 29th homicide victim of 2017.
