Christopher Shaw | A 'Mr Big' operation was crucial to a police investigation into two St. John's shootings. Christopher Shaw, 34, was sentenced at Supreme Court in St. John's, Tuesday, to three-and-a-half years in prison for weapons offences. Jason Marsh, 38, was charged with attempted murder, assault, and aggravated assault.
Two undercover officers from Ontario were placed in cells at the St. John's lockup. One of them was put in a cell with Marsh, who had been arrested for breaching a court order. Marsh gave the officers Shaw's phone number. They got him involved in several fake cargo theft schemes. Cops asked Shaw to get them a gun. Shaw, thinking he was dealing with the Hell's Angels, got them a .347 magnum handgun and 40 rounds of ammunition. | Jason Marsh |
