HA David James Bishop Misunderstood

Hells Angels MC member David James Bishop, 35 has pleaded not guilty to drug and weapons charges from a police raid at his home in Cole Harbour this summer.

Bishop was one of three arrested after police searched his residence and seized a large quantity of drugs, OMG paraphernalia, two guns and ammunition. One of the weapons, a .38 handgun, was loaded. Bishop was denied bail September 22nd.
Jacquelyne Anna Brophy, 33, and Sara Michelle Walker, 28, both of Cole Harbour, were also apprehended in the raid. They were charged and released. The trial was set for March 13 and 14.

“I’m not OK with those dates” said Bishop, who appeared by video link from the Northeast Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Pictou County. He questioned why all three accused have to be tried at the same time.

Bishop is also charged with six counts of breaching a firearms prohibition.
