Edmonton police lay charges in massive fentanyl seizure


Over $1 million cash was seized
Police have charged Landen Wisbey, 33, Wayne Tran, 31, Dennis Trinh, 34, and Thinh Dinh, 29, with a multitude of trafficking-related charges. In July, police seized 128,849 fentanyl pills, 112 grams of carfentanil, one kilogram of unknown substances laced with fentanyl, 583 grams of marijuana, 12 kilograms of buffing agents and approximately 100 kilograms of fentanyl pill buffing agents.
A fentanyl processing lab at a Sturgeon County home was deemed unfit for human habitation.

Two pill presses were seized along with 4 cement mixers.
4kg of cocaine and 8kg of methamphetamine were also seized. Police seized more than $4 million worth of drugs and more than $1 million cash.
