Cash in Transit (CIT) heists in South Africa have become common. Two Fidelity guards were taken to hospital in a critical condition after a recent heist. Fidelity Group CEO Wahl Bartmann said the increase in the number of CIT bombings in recent months is unacceptable and points sharply to the lack of control over explosives. "We know that syndicates perpetrating these kinds of crimes are highly skilled and organised". |
