 | Grewal, 30, was the leader of one of two gangs embroiled in the Townline Hill conflict in Abbotsford. One of the gangs was led by Sandeep Sidhu and Jimi Sandhu – while the other was headed by Grewal. The three were the subject of a public notice by police warning that they posed a risk of “significant harm to the safety of the community and anyone who may associate with them.”
Abbotsford became known as the “murder capital of Canada” in 2008 and 2009, when a bloody war between the Red Scorpions and the UN Gang spilled onto city streets. Six were killed in 2008 and 11 in 2009. |
