U.S. Coast Guard delivers another 7 tons of Cocaine

An estimated 14,000 pounds of cocaine that arrived at Port Everglades last week aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton is the result of seven recent busts in the eastern Pacific. The cocaine has a wholesale value of about $190 million and was seized in international waters off the coasts of Mexico and Central and South America.

2017 was a year of record breaking cocaine seizures world-wide as Colombian coca production zoomed.
