 | The brothers brought with them a rise in violence and brazen aggression against police. There have been at least 15 attacks against police vehicles in the last three years. Most recently an ambush occurred in the town of La Linea de la Concepcion. The neighborhood is adjacent to La Atunara, a maze of tiny streets where drug gangs have built “fortresses”. The attack might have been retaliation for the arrest of Antonio Tejon Castano. |  |
