Jon Jones, David Benavidez - Cocaine in pro sport

UFC fighter Jon Jones had a well-publicized positive test for cocaine in 2014. He had many comments. "I’ll look you dead in your eyes. I don’t like coke. I’m not a coke guy.” "So now people like to paint me as this coke head, and my haters would love for me to be a coke head, but far from it.”

He tested positive again in July 28, 2017. In a statement he admitted to using cocaine throughout the period between the two tests.
WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez showed positive for cocaine in connection to a random drug test and was stripped of his title. Benavidez was the youngest ever boxing world title holder at 21.

Unlike Jones, Benavidez offered no excuses or lies. “I would like to sincerely apologize to the WBC for my actions. I am embarrassed to have this happen. (Also), to my all my fans that I lost the respect of."
