Operation 'White Whale' cocaine trafficking ring in Colorado

A joint Colorado and U.S. DEA investigation called “Operation White Whale” obtained cocaine-dealing indictments against 16, seized 134 kg of cocaine and confiscated another $1.2m in cash.

The drug ring transported large quantities of drugs in semi-trailer trucks. Chinese nationals laundered drug money through Chinese banks. Two Colorado men ran the drug ring.
Traffickers imported cocaine from Mexico and distributed the drugs to Atlanta and around the country. Jesus Arevalo-Arvizo, Julian Anchondo-Galaviz, Tommie Leon Walker and Juan Carlos Garcia-Martinez have all been charged.
