Sentencing date FINALLY set for fentanyl producer Leslie McCulloch

Leslie McCulloch, Rebekka Rae WhiteA sentencing date has FINALLY been set for Leslie McCulloch, who was caught with an analog of fentanyl in his Kelowna shop. McCulloch and Rebekka Rae White were arrested on March 2, 2016, when McCulloch's home and business were raided. McCulloch pleaded guilty to charges of production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose in Feb 2017. McCulloch was released on bail to allow him to “get his affairs in order”.
Two pill presses were seized.Analysis of the substances revealed only four grams of analogue acetylfentanyl. The rest was caffeine and a binding agent. After what will be almost two and a half years since his guilty plea, McCulloch is set to face sentencing with a three-day hearing scheduled for Jan. 29.

The crown is seeking in excess of 10 years.
McCulloch has served time for drug trafficking and was on parole.
In 2013, he was handed a 4.5 year sentence for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He is described as a “middleman who transported drugs for the Hells Angels.”
