35 kg of heroin delivered to YVR buys eight years jail

Tenny Guon Lim, 38, pleaded guilty in B.C. Supreme Court to one count of possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking. Lim’s co-accused, Randy Per, an Air Canada employee at the time, used his status at the airport to gain access to a warehouse where a package that had been shipped from South Asia was being stored awaiting approval for entry to Canada.
The judge told Lim. “I’m told that although you were only declaring $47,000 in income on your tax returns, your lifestyle showed that you had significantly more funds available than that income would have supported.”

Lim is giving up his rights as a co-owner of a West Vancouver property that has been sold and the proceeds paid into the court. The Crown is also seeking forfeiture of a home on Rosebery Avenue as proceeds-of-crime.
