Convict son of murdered ex-Hells Angel sorry for crime spree - update

Vancouver cops lassoed "violent offender" Dillon Juel Stanton, 32, a week ago. He was wanted Canada-wide for violating his release conditions. Stanton was serving a three-year sentence for an armed robbery in Coquitlam in 2017.

Dillon Stanton had more than a dozen previous convictions in 2019.
He was in the community on statutory release and had been ordered to live in a Vancouver halfway house. He said fux that and bolted. Dillon Juel Stanton, son of ex-Hells Angel Juel Ross Stanton, was at home the day his father was gunned down in the family’s backyard in 2010. He blew the $500k from his dad's estate in six years and became a drug addict. A long string of often violent armed robberies followed.

"I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart.” said Stanton in 2019.

Stanton and Nicholas Lenard Traviss, 20, were busted on March 13, 2017. Cops found a massive trove of stolen property, including 11 firearms, some with the serial numbers filed off. The pair were sentenced to seven years and five months jail. With time-and-a-half credit for time served, Stanton and Traviss will be in jail for nearly four more years.
