HA Suminder 'Ali' Grewal whacked in South Surrey drive-thru - Update III

Nathan De Jong, 21, and Calvin Powery-Hooker, 20, are facing first-degree murder charges for the shooting death of Suminder ‘Ali’ Grewal.

They made their first appearance via video. Powery-Hooker appeared to have a beard and is dark, while De Jong is white and appeared with a goatee. The brief hearing was put over until Aug. 27 so the accused could obtain legal counsel.
Cops have issued a warning to those in the 'gang lifestyle' to be prepared for retaliation for the hit on full patch HA Suminder 'Ali' Grewal. The hitmen came from Alberta and are thought to be contract killers. It is being reported Grewal had financial troubles. He was a regular at the Starbucks where he was shot to death.
The murdered Chad Wilson with Suminder Grewal.The man shot dead in a South Surrey drive-thru on Friday morning has been identified as Suminder (Ali) Grewal. The shooting happened at the drive-thru for a financial institution in the 3000-block of 152 Street around 9:20 a.m.

Two men who fled from the scene have been arrested. They reportedly blew a tire in their attempt to flee.

20-year-old Calvin Powery-Hooker and 21-year-old Nathan De Jong have been charged with first degree murder connected to the killing of 43-year-old Suminder Grewal. 
Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says the two accused are known to police.
