Toxic waste left for Oz taxpayers after West Footscray

Oz EPA estimates there are 10 million litres of chemicals still inside the burnt-out and partially collapsed warehouse that must be remediated. 14 months after the fire, the property of HA linked Graham Leslie White must be cleaned up at public expense.
White was released from prison for keeping an illegal weapons cache in September.
The material is so toxic that guards have been posted to prevent entrance.
White is now linked to more than a dozen other illicit chemical stockpiles exceeding 100 million litres. The EPA’s failure to detect the massive stock of chemicals left behind after the fire is the latest in a long string of failures in stopping the syndicate behind the dumping operation. White has not been charged for his illegal dumping or the highly suspicious West Footscray fire.
