The SIM swap fraud

SIM swap fraud is a relatively new, sophisticated form of fraud that allows hackers to gain access to bank accounts, credit card numbers, and other personal data.

A cellphone SIM card stores user data in GSM phones. They’re used for authentication — without a SIM card, GSM phones can't tap into a mobile network. A reliance on phone-based authentication has made SIM swapping an increasingly lucrative crime.
SIM criminals case their targets carefully before an attack. They call the victim’s cellphone provider and claim the SIM card has been lost or damaged. Then they ask customer service to activate a SIM card or number in their possession. With unfettered access to a victim’s phone number, criminals then target bank accounts and credit cards. The crime has more than tripled in the US since 2013.

Cops land 3 HA bikies in Pattaya, Thailand

Cops found 1.1kg of meth, a gun, mobile phones, and £25k in the busts. The three Aussies are connected to the Hells Angels. Cops are now hunting for Christopher Depp, a Brit they say is the leader of the operation.
The three men arrested are Tihomer Stojic, 47, Jamie Hansom, 46, and Steven Hovi, 58. A Nigerian man and two local Thai women were also taken into custody.

"I want Nothing" call of Sept 9 didn't happen

Trump has been regularly invoking Sondland’s testimony at rallies and press events, claiming that Sondland’s description of the “no quid pro” call completely exonerates him. In the middle of Sondland’s public testimony, Trump made a loud public appearance on the White House lawn, a portion of Sondland’s paraphrased testimony in hand, to perform a dramatic reenactment of the call for cameras.

It was all theater for the obtuse - the call never happened and there is no WH record of it. ONE call occurred and it took place on September 7th.

When asked to confirm that this call had taken place on September 9th instead, Sondland repeatedly invoked his lack of access to records to explain his inability to either say or remember. Most would be suspecting Sondland has perjured himself.

Trump insults military - Eddie Gallagher

Eddie Gallagher was convicted of posing gleefully for a photo with the boy's corpse. Fired Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer describes the degree to which Trump involved himself in the case of Eddie Gallagher, a Navy SEAL acquitted of stabbing an ISIS captive/boy to death.
Donald Trump called Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher "one of our ultimate fighters." "I have to protect my warfighters."

"Torture works," Trump said at a campaign event in South Carolina in 2017. "Half these guys [say]: 'Torture doesn't work.' Believe me, it works."
American soldiers must have standards. The idea of a moral code which American troops are governed by is foreign to Trump.

Joe Adonis - Giuseppe Antonio Doto

The article was buried in the back pages of the New York Times on December 7, 1971, Page 93. "Giuseppe Antonio Doto, known in life as Joe Adonis, was buried here today, accompanied to the wind‐chilled Madonna Roman Catholic Cemetery by members of his immediate family. Conspicuously absent were Adonis's former colleagues from a much larger, Mafia family."

It was an anonymous end for a man who was once one of the city's most powerful gangsters. In 1915 Giuseppe Antonio Doto boarded an ocean liner docked in Naples on its way to the US. He hopped off in Brooklyn, where his cousin was a Vito Genovese family capo. Adonis joined a gang of street toughs who would later become major mobsters, including Lucky Luciano.
In 1951 Adonis was indicted for illegal gambling and sentenced to two years. In April of 1931 Adonis, Bugsy Siegel, Vito Genovese and Albert Anastasia killed Brooklyn mob boss Giuseppe Masseria. The September 10, 1931 murder of Boss Salvatore Maranano solidified Luciano's power. Luciano established the National Crime Syndicate. Adonis received a seat on the Syndicate and oversaw 'Murder Inc.'
On August 6, 1953, at a hearing in Adonis's prison, the US Department of Justice ordered Adonis's deportation to Italy. In 1971, during an anti-Mafia operation, Italian police took in Adonis for questioning. As he was being interrogated he suffered a massive heart attack and died. His body was flown back to the US and he was buried in a cemetery at Fort Lee, NJ.

Leonard ‘Len’ Blavatnik donated $800k to Lindsey Graham

Leonard Blavatnik is a Ukrainian-born billionaire with longstanding ties to those close to Vladimir Putin. Blavatnik is a British and American citizen whose vast fortune came from the privatization of Russian aluminum and other industries in the 1990s—now notorious as a corrupt giveaway. Blavatnik is ranked by Forbes as the 59th richest person in the world. He is best known as the owner of the Warner Music Group. During the 2015-2016 election Blavatnik gave $6.35m to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators. Included in this figure is $800k to South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. He also gave $3.5m to a super PAC tied to the lawmaker.
Blavatnik’s support for McConnell drew notice when his company Rusal announced plans for a $200m aluminum plant in Kentucky. That came after McConnell blocked a bill that assisted US sanctions on Rusal.

Blavatnik’s history of deals with “individuals with checkered pasts, deep Kremlin ties and a reputation for corruption” is well known.

Blavatnik also donated $1m to the Trump Inaugural Committee.

Polls and Trump's 'Bullshit'

A Gallup poll from July 1974 was released 11 days before Richard Nixon was forced to resign. 46% of Americans wanted to see him removed from office. A poll released by CNN found that 50% of Americans want to see Trump impeached and removed from office. Even compared to the depths of the Nixon scandal, this is a first.

After being completely decimated for two weeks in hearings, Trump has convinced himself that Americans are starting to see things his way. “Support for Impeachment is dropping like a rock, down into the 20’s in some Polls." “polls have now turned very strongly against Impeachment, especially in swing states.” Trump claimed only 25 percent of those surveyed supported impeachment and the numbers were “actually devastating to the Democrats.”
The problem with Trump’s lie is that data does not exist outside of his imagination. There are NO national polls that reflect Trump's falsehoods. None show the national figure “down into the 20s.” Why does this POTUS pretend polls say what he wants them to say?

Folks best remember Trump’s words of guiding wisdom ... “People will just believe you. You just tell them and they believe you.”

Trump swears on National TV - 'Bullshit' - Update II

This is the partial text from Trump's latest speech.
The 'stable genius' has just released this photo of himself on Twitter. This observer is very quickly running out of alarmed adjectives.

Trump is slipping far beyond the 'normal' and it's happening right now.
Damn it truly is. This man is a) senile and b) going rapidly insane. He is slurring his words terribly and cannot say 'stock market'.

Nicolle Wallace rips traitors

MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace rips traitors for siding with Russia against American interests. Latest is Fox News Tucker Carlson very openly saying he supports Russia over America.

To go along with that we have Republican senator Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) making his third attempt at answering whether he believes the U.S. intelligence conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. Wallace notes that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have also been pushing the fully debunked Russian disinformation campaign.

Nunes will 'track down' CNN, Daily Beast

Presidents are not kings - McGahn ordered to testify

It's a legal defeat for Trump who has tried to prevent anyone from giving testimony. Not only must McGahn provide testimony, but so too a raft of officials who have been stonewalling.
A federal judge has ruled that Don McGahn, former White House Counsel for Trump, must submit to a congressional subpoena and testify before the U.S. House of Representatives.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's ruling: "Stated simply, the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of recorded American history is that Presidents are not kings ... This means that they do not have subjects, bound by loyalty or blood, whose destiny they are entitled to control."
"Rather, in this land of liberty, it is indisputable that current and former employees of the White House work for the People of the United States, and that they take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." "... with respect to senior-level presidential aides, absolute immunity from compelled congressional process simply does not exist."

McGahn was a star witness in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and could reveal much.

Donald Trump health: 'wobbles' during medal ceremony

On November 21st Trump awarded the National Medal of Arts to supporter/actor Jon Voight. In video footage from the event, the obese 73 year-old Trump appeared unsteady on his feet, and appeared to be leaning on the podium for support. One commentator wrote: “Trump is NOT looking well!! It was pointed out Trump's left arm appears to be hanging.

The 'explanations' for Trump's unexpected visit to hospital are ridiculous. The physician explained that the examination was part of a “routine, planned interim checkup” which was part of the “regular, primary preventative care he receives throughout the year”. Trump now travels with the WH doctor.
This space is beginning to believe Trump suffered a minor stroke, and that grey material is under severe siege as it is.

Seven Mile Bloods gangster pulls 40 years - no parole

Seven Mile Bloods gang member Robert Brown, aka “RO”, 37, is going to prison for decades as the FBI continues its crackdown on gang violence in Detroit.

Brown was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison after a jury convicted him of racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder in aid of racketeering and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime. Brown was sentenced to 30 years on the RICO conspiracy, 10 years on the weapons count, and a 10-year concurrent sentence on the attempted murder.

Frontotemporal dementia

Trump's unscheduled visit to hospital has reignited debate about his mental health. These days Trump virtually never finishes a sentence with the idea he started with.
He rambles. The term frontotemporal dementia was suggested more than 8 months ago to explain Trump's rapidly growing inability to 'find' words and make complete sentences. In frontotemporal dementia, portions of the brain's lobes shrink. (atrophy) Progression of Frontotemporal dementia may take as little as 3 years or as much as a decade. It is permanent and eventually fatal.
Around the same time Trump said "my father is German, was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany." Fred Trump was born in New York.
The areas of the brain effected are generally associated with personality, behavior and speech.

Common behavioral symptoms of frontotemporal dementia include inappropriate actions, apathy, or lack of interest or enthusiasm in activities, lack of inhibition or restraint, and compulsive behavior. Symptoms can include difficulty speaking or understanding speech, language recall problems, loss of reading and writing skills and difficulty with social interactions.
