Testimony from Sondland blows Trump and GOP to chit

Sondland's resubmitted testimony reveals that getting a meeting between Zelensky and Trump was tied directly to Trump's 'investigations', and that this became “more insidious” as time went on. Sondland said Trump’s constant refrain was: “Talk to Rudy, talk to Rudy.”

Sondland told a top Ukranian official in September that to get the military aid unlocked the Ukrainians would need to put out a public statement committing to all of Trump's 'investigations'.
Operatives even had a statement prepared that they expected Ukraine to spew.

Kurt Volker testified there was no validity to the allegations that Trump pressed Ukraine to investigate.
Testimony by two of the “three amigos” charged with running Ukraine policy for Donald Trump will be made public today. Kurt Volker, Trump’s former special representative for Ukraine, Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the EU and Trump’s secretary of energy, Rick Perry, are known as the “three amigos” responsible for Trump’s unofficial channel to Ukrainian government officials.

Volker resigned in September and testified on Oct. 3. Sondland testified on Oct. 17. Perry, who is resigning from his Cabinet post as of Dec. 1, has refused to testify.
