Trump assassinates top Iranian general

Trump's decision to murder Iran's top general is being seen as a political ploy in an election year and the start of world war 3.

Although Qassem Soleimani was blown to oblivion in the US drone strike, he was identified by his ring, which was still attached to his severed hand. The general was among several killed in the airstrike at the Baghdad airport.
Soleimani's vehicle was struck by at least two missiles fired from a US MQ9 Reaper drone. 10,000 kilometres away, Trump was at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Over a round of golf he told Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham of the planned attack. Graham told the 'Fox & Friends' program Friday morning.
Trump was eating ice cream and meat loaf at his club when the news broke.
