John 'Goldfinger' Palmer

The unsolved murder of John 'Goldfinger' Palmer has reached the 5 year mark. The murdered Essex gang boss tried to blackmail the Government with a recording of a politician sexually abusing children, according to his former lieutenant Mohamed Derbah.

Palmer died after being shot six times at his home in a "professional" killing on June 24, 2015. A gunman shot the gangster three times from point-blank range and then three more times in the back as the 64-year-old lay on the ground. A mortally wounded Palmer managed to walk a short distance towards his house before collapsing.
The week of his death he was busted in a wide ranging fraud. The underworld believed Palmer was offering information on other criminals.
Once described as the richest mobster in the UK, Palmer left a long trail of corpses in his wake. Cops believed that virtually all of his £300m fortune came from swindles, violence, racketeering and money laundering
