Mafioso Nicola Spagnolo trial - "un vieux crisse de riche"

Spagnolo on his way to Boho Bar. The victim described his assailant as "un vieux crisse de riche" (rich old man) The crown completed submissions and the matter returns to court when Spagnolo may make his defence. Quebec Court set aside three dates in August in case they are required to hear more evidence. Spagnolo’s connect to the Montreal mafia executive has nothing to do with his aggravated assault charge.
The victim testified he didn't know Spagnolo before they began arguing after leaving the Boho bar. He said they were both drunk.

Accused of attempting to kill a man at a bar in Old Montreal, Mafioso Nicola Spagnolo was released on conditions. Spagnolo was charged with aggravated assault, an attempted murder charge was dropped. Spagnolo is the son of Vincenzo Spagnolo, assassinated at his Laval residence in October 2016. Cops consider Spagnolo to be a member of the Montreal mafia's executive, sitting alongside Leonardo Rizzuto and Stefano Sollecito.
In April 2013 Spagnolo was sentenced to nine months imprisonment for possession of a firearm.
