1/2 ton cocaine from narco plane found in Belize

Martinez, who is from Sinaloa, Mexico, is connected to the Sinaloa cartel.
After combing through the forests in Mountain Pine Ridge in search of the Cessna Centurion that crash landed, cops discovered a payload of 25½ bales of cocaine (514 bricks). 60 cops were deployed and first found the badly injured co-pilot, Jesus Alberto Quintero Martinez, a 27-year-old Mexican, and then the cocaine.
Conspiracy to import cocaine will be brought against six Belizean men. The latest bust occurs after court granted bail to four cops detained in connection with another drug plane landing in November. Statements suggest there is a well-coordinated rogue operation within the Police Department connected to drug cartels.
