Justice extremely slow for busted Halifax cop

A Halifax cop facing four criminal charges was not ready to make an election or enter pleas when he appeared in court by phone. It was the fifth time the allegations against Const. Jacob Farr have been in Halifax provincial court since he was charged by the Serious Incident Response Team in July. Farr, 31, faces two counts of assault in relation to an Oct. 12, 2020, arrest. He’s also charged with obstructing police and breach of trust for failing to report his actions in police reports as required. Farr remains suspended with pay. He has been on the force since since December 2017.
