Partying passengers stuck in Mexico - James William Awad

A group of young Quebec terds could be facing thousands in fines after videos surfaced showing them partying without masks on board a Sunwing flight from Montreal to Cancun Dec 30.The plane was privately chartered by 111 Private Club, a promoter that organized the six-day, all-inclusive event in Cancun. The departments of Transport, Public Safety and Health have all launched investigations into the incident. There could be fines of up to $5,000 from Transport Canada for each offence on board. Additional fines and even jail time could follow if passengers were found to be endangering others, or if they provide false information upon their return to Canada.

At least one of the passengers has since tested positive for COVID-19.
Sunwing canceled their return flight because the group did not agree to terms it outlined. Air Canada and Air Transat have both said they will not fly the travelers home either, citing the safety of other passengers and crew. James William Awad was the organizing bonehead. He sees no problems whatever. "A simple party on a plane did all this buzz," he wrote, noting he would "take a moment" to rethink.
A dozen of the party flight’s passengers returned to Montreal last night. They were detained upon arrival, likely because they needed a legitimate reason (which none have) to go to Cancun in the first place.
