Cocaine bust off Spain's Canary Islands

Five were arrested when a fishing boat carrying 2.9 tonnes of cocaine was intercepted off the Canary Islands. The Akt1 was stopped by the Spanish coastguard in waters south of the Spanish archipelago and escorted to Las Palmas. Cops say the estimated street value is £60 million.
Spanish police seized 2.9 tonnes of cocaine after intercepting a fishing trawler off the Canary Islands. The cocaine was hidden in one of the fuel tanks of the 65-foot AKT 1, which was stopped on April 13th. 4 Turks and a Georgian were arrested.
