Russia's Wagner group recruiting at prisons - HQ blasted

Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner group, said those who do not want to send convicts to fight should send their own children instead.
Leaked footage showed him telling inmates they would be freed if they served (and survived) six months with his group.
According to the British Defense Ministry, Wagner has suffered heavy losses near Popasna and Lysychansk.

Ukrainian reports implicate the Wagner group in the Olenivka prison fire on 29 July which killed dozens of Ukrainian prisoners-of-war.
Ukrainian artillery obliterated the headquarters of the Wagner group in eastern Ukraine Aug 15 with multple US Himars missles. Pro-Kremlin correspondent Sergei Sreda posted a photo on Telegram of the base with its apparent address. The image, shared on social media but since deleted, shows five men in military uniform with a street sign in Popasna, Luhansk visible in the top left corner.
