 Alvinder Singh Gill | Former Abbotsford Sun Life financial planner Alvinder Singh Gill has long been accused of setting up a bogus company and then using fake documents to steal $329,625 from a retired couple over a nine-year period. In 2009 Gill set up Greynote Group Financial Services without telling his employer Sun Life. The Insurance Council of BC cancelled his insurance agent licence in October 2020 and referred the matter to the Abbotsford Police, who have done nothing. Both the Insurance Council of BC and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada are taking regulator action against Gill and have hearings scheduled. |  |
