Charges dropped against homeowner who killed home invader

A murder charge laid against Milton man Ali Mian has been dropped. He was accused of killing an armed intruder earlier this year. The Crown withdrew the second-degree murder charge. Mian, a registered firearm owner, was charged after he shot and killed an armed intruder who broke into his home in Milton on Feb. 19. Mian, who lived in the home with his mother, confronted the thugs and gunshots were fired.

When cops arrived they found Alexander Amoroso-Leacock, 21, dead. Romario Clarke, 20, of Oshawa was charged with break and enter and possession of a firearm. Three other shitbags fled.
