 | Just in case anybody was worried, Trump has big plans. Included in these is a flat 10% import duty on everything entering America. The idea for a “universal baseline tariff” was discussed at a dinner last week at Trump’s New Jersey golf course to his shameless bootlickers, who approve. “When companies come in and they dump their products in the United States, they should pay, automatically, let’s say a 10% tax…I do like the 10% for everybody.” Economists from both parties said Trump’s tariff proposal is off the charts stupid. It is being described as 'lunacy' and 'horrifying'. It is a tax that will be passed on to customers and result in far higher prices for American consumers . |
