ONLY GOP defence - Rudy went rouge
There is a "Clear and present danger: Trump compromised security and abused office" and "solicited foreign interference in the 2020 election."A report has been released by Democrats. It says Trump placed personal political interests "above the national interests of the United States." Evidence of misconduct was overwhelming "and so too is the evidence of his obstruction of Congress."

Formal charges are expected to include abuse of power, obstruction of justice and contempt of Congress. "No other President has flouted the Constitution and power of Congress to conduct oversight to this extent."
Despite testimony from POTUS telling all to “talk to Rudy,” the new Republican report insists Giuliani was not speaking on his behalf. The report notes that the White House took steps to rein in Giuliani when he attempted to secure a U.S. visa for Viktor Shokin.

An attorney representing Lev Parnas, asked that materials seized during his client’s arrest be released to the House committees leading the impeachment inquiry. He asked a federal court in Manhattan for an update, referring to electronic devices that were seized in searches. Federal prosecutors described the material seized from Parnas and his three co-defendants to be "voluminous" including 29 electronic devices.
Parnas helped arrange overseas meetings and calls for Nunes in 2018.
Devin Nunes is the top Republican presiding over the impeachment hearings and was central to Trump’s failed efforts to discredit the Mueller probe. Nunes continues to malign the Russia investigation, decrying it as the “Russia hoax” even though investigators are asking whether Trump lied in writing to Mueller’s investigators in his sworn statements.

Parnas said that Trump tasked him with a “secret mission” at a 2018 White House Hanukkah party to pressure Ukraine into investigating the Bidens. Trump has repeatedly said he doesn't know Parnas.
GOP release Report - Trump did nothing wrong
Despite testimony from scores of credible witnesses, the GOP has determined Trump committed “no quid pro quo, bribery, extortion, or abuse of power.” They say any references to a quid pro quo are conjecture and hearsay.
They label ALL former and current State Department officials and members of the intelligence community as “unelected bureaucrats."

They also claim the infamous July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, seen as the 'smoking gun', is actually, in reality, exonerating Trump completely.
Trump's bizarre habits - Man Makeup 'Nutmeg WPF06'
Trump has long employed and underpaid undocumented workers at many resorts and job sites. This left a lot of former employees willing to speak. Reporters spoke to 50 former undocumented workers employed at 11 of Trump’s properties in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. Bizarre habits emerged. It is strictly forbidden for anyone to touch his TV remote. It gets stranger.

Trump uses Bronx Colors-brand face makeup from Switzerland that he slathers on — two full containers, one half full. His shirt collars are often drenched in it.
'Bronx Colors' gives Trump that 'Rusty' and/or Orange look.
Inquiring types are pointing to 'Nutmeg WPF06 Waterproof foundation' at Unknown if they sell it by the 45 gallon drum, but Trump must be going through it at a pace of their best customers.
Trump has an obsession with Tic Tacs. He demands, in his bedroom bureau at all times, the exact same two full containers of white Tic Tacs and one container half full.

Trump reportedly drinks up to 12 Diet Cokes a day.

Taylor testimony blows Trump to smithereens
The statement of William B. Taylor Jr. is readily available and ought to be required reading for anybody interested in truth and Trump's abuse of power. For certain it should be read by every American. This quid pro quo begs the question what was given away to Russia when the decision to pull American solders from Syria was made.

President Trump has commenced his attacks on Ambassador Bill Taylor: "Here’s the problem. He’s a never-Trumper and his lawyer is a never-Trumper." The fact is he was appointed by Trump and handpicked by Pompeo.
Acting ambassador to Ukraine William B. Taylor Jr testified behind closed doors in the House impeachment probe. His 15 page opening statement was said to have been met with audible gasps. The Washington Post is reporting the replacement for the ousted Ukrainian ambassador said he was told the release of military aid was contingent on public declarations from Ukraine it would investigate the Bidens and the 2016 election, contradicting all of Trump's denials.
Taylor provided an “excruciatingly detailed” statement that described the quid-pro-quo pressure campaign that Trump and his allies waged, and have been denying. Trump held up security aid for the country and refused a White House meeting with Ukraine’s leader until he agreed to investigate Trump’s political rivals. There is no question Trump abused US foreign policy for his own political ends.

Trump DOES know Ukrainian Lev Parnas - "phony Emoluments Clause"
The private Instagram account of Lev Parnas has revealed new evidence of his close relationship with the Trump family and his very close relationship with Rudy Giuliani.

Trump has repeatedly denied knowing Parnas. “I don’t know them. You’ll have to ask Rudy.”

In August 2018, Parnas posted a photo of a signed, personalized thank-you note from Trump “Lev Parnas, Thank you for your friendship and dedication to our cause.”
Parnas posted multiple photos of himself with Trump and his family. Donald Trump appears to have signed for Melania.
The Title of Nobility Clause is a provision in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution, that prohibits the federal government from granting titles of nobility, and restricts members of the government from receiving gifts, emoluments, offices or titles from foreign states and monarchies without the consent of the United States Congress.

Also known as the Emoluments Clause, it was designed to shield the federal officeholders of the United States against "corrupting foreign influences."

What is truly disturbing is that Trump gives a rationale why the US constitution is 'phony' in his mind. It's because he believes it's costing him money ($2 to $5 Billion?) to be POTUS and this gives him the 'right' to gifts, even from foreign states.
Trump press secretary Mick Mulvaney burns Trump alive

In what has left jaws dropping virtually everywhere on earth, Mick Mulvaney sums up Trump. "I have news for everybody: Get over it. There's going to be political influence in foreign policy."
How the acting White House chief of staff can tell global reporters this is surrealistic.
UPDATE: Mulvaney has issued issued a statement accusing the media of “misconstruing” his remarks.
Sondland to testify that Trump directed Giuliani to push Ukraine scheme
U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland will tell Congress that Rudy Giuliani told him President Donald Trump wanted Ukraine’s new government to investigate both the 2016 election and a natural gas firm tied to Hunter Biden.

Trump’s ambassador told House investigators he opposed the president’s request to run Ukraine policy through Rudy Giuliani.
"My understanding was that the president directed Mr. Giuliani’s participation, that Mr. Giuliani was expressing the concerns of the president."
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis - Dodgey Ukrainians 'appeared legitimate'
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, facing severe scrutiny, is back peddling furiously. DeSantis said he was unaware of the alleged illegal activities and that the two appeared “legitimate.” The Miami Herald reported that Parnas also hosted two fundraisers for DeSantis in 2018. After the charges emerged in the federal case, DeSantis announced he was turning over to the federal government the $50,000 that Parnas and Fruman contributed to his political committee through a Delaware corporation called Global Energy Producers.

DeSantis’ received his donation from Global Energy Producers a day after the former congressman was endorsed in the gubernatorial contest by Trump. Trump tweeted his “full endorsement” of DeSantis.

When it was first learned the dirty duo had contributed $50k to DeSantis’ campaign after Trump's endorsement, the governor’s spokeswoman described Fruman and Parnas as donors who DeSantis didn’t know well — or at all. Spokeswoman Helen Aguirre Ferré said that Fruman and Parnas “may” have attended GOP events during the 2018 elections, but that DeSantis “does not have a relationship with these individuals.”

After the photos surfaced and caused a firestorm, DeSantis acknowledges the men. “I knew Parnas," DeSantis said. “I didn’t know the other guy as much.”

Sickening images from Trump's Gangsterism in Syria emerge
The United States appears to be heading toward a full military withdrawal from Syria amid growing chaos, cries of betrayal and signs that Turkey’s invasion could fuel a broader war. The human cost is sickening. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Sunday that Trump had directed U.S. troops in northern Syria to begin pulling out “as safely and quickly as possible.”

Hundreds of IS supporters escaped a holding camp amid clashes between invading Turkish-led forces and Kurdish fighters. Analysts said an IS resurgence seemed far more likely, just months after Trump declared the extremists defeated. Many critics say the U.S. has betrayed the Kurds.

Trump - Godfather of Scarface, or Joker?
The Godfather of Scarface, the most intriguing gangsta tale America has ever witnessed is playing out right in front of our very eyes. Donald Trump’s administration blocked the testimony of Gordon Sondland, the US Ambassador to the European Union, before Congress. POTUS is declaring the inquiry unconstitutional and invalid, and saying neither the president nor his administration would participate in it. Text messages and emails on personal devices are also now being subpoenaed. Latest polls suggest 58% of Americans support impeachment.
Trump attacked the unnamed whistle-blower repeatedly. Trump called for the unidentified U.S. intelligence employee to be “exposed and questioned properly.”

The Whistleblower’s lawyer is a big Democrat. The Whistleblower has ties to one of my DEMOCRAT OPPONENTS."
The main defence of POTUS supporters seems to be his comments were all jokes.
President Donald Trump says his phone call with the Ukrainian president was "absolutely perfect." He says asking China and other countries to investigate his political opponent Joe Biden is also perfectly fine.

In the official record, President Zelensky asked for Javelin anti-tank missiles. President Trump replied, "I would like you to do us a favor though." That's when he asked Zelensky to investigate Biden.

Discipline among Republicans is falling away in the face of a rapidly growing threat that he will be impeached.

@GOPLeader McCarthy: "You watch what the president said -- he's not saying China should investigate,"
POTUS: “China should start an investigation into the Bidens.
FGM-148 Javelin - anti tank missile
The FGM-148 Javelin is an American fire-and-forget anti-tank missile. It uses an automatic infrared guidance that allows the user to seek cover immediately after launch, as opposed to wire-guided systems where the user has to actively guide the weapon. The Javelin's HEAT warhead is capable of defeating modern tanks by attacking them from above where their armor is thinnest.

The Javelin missile's tandem warhead utilizes an explosive shaped charge to create a stream of superplastically deformed metal formed from trumpet-shaped metallic liners. The result is a narrow high velocity particle stream that can penetrate armor.
FGM-148 Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile systems cost something around $125k with each missile about $100k.
'Donations' from indicted associates of Giuliani to be returned
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) will return campaign donations from two known associates of Rudy Giuliani who were arrested Thursday for violating campaign finance laws. The House minority leader and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) both received considerable donations from Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, a pair of Ukrainian American businessmen.Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman

The two were arrested and indicted on charges of funneling illegal campaign contributions into a pro-Trump super PAC. They also gave money to other Republican candidates, including $50,000 to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Both men were said to be working with Giuliani to put pressure on Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

Trump is now expressing concerns about Giuliani's ties to Ukrainians.

De Niro calls Trump a 'gangster president'
Robert De Niro doesn't mince words when it comes to President Donald Trump. "We have a gangster president who thinks he can do anything he wants ... the problem is, if he actually gets away with it, then we all have a problem."

He continued the theme when talking about Trump's relationship with the media. "It’s a resentment of people (who are) writing about what we see is obvious gangsterism." The veteran Hollywood star said that the US president does not have the same “honor” that is often exhibited by traditional gangsters.

“The idea of respect and knowing right from wrong was more than we were seeing from our leaders, we were not being told the truth about what was really going on.” “Today, we have a weird twisted president who thinks he’s a gangster, who’s not even a very good gangster."
Bad week for Rudy Giuliani, Trump

White House Mob Boss Trump: 'Do Us a Favor'
What favor was President Trump demanding from Ukraine’s President Zelensky? It was to get political dirt on Joe Biden or his son.
Trouble is the U.S. government had already investigated the allegation under the Obama administration and found nothing to it.
POTUS was threatening the Ukraine president by withholding $391m in foreign aid to Ukraine. The whistle blower complaint accuses the president, Attorney General William Barr, and the president’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani of serious wrongdoing. Impeachment proceedings likely will reveal whether or not POTUS has exercised criminal behavior in asking a foreign government head, and perhaps others, to “do us a favor.”

We must fight for our democracy - Elijah Cummings
Trump mourned the death of Rep. Elijah Cummings in a deferential tweet that diverged greatly from the many racially charged insults he hurled at Cummings over the summer. Trump described Cummings as “racist” and “a brutal bully,” charging that he “has done a very poor job” representing his constituents and “has failed badly!” Trump also characterized Cummings’ predominantly black, Baltimore-based district as “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess” where “no human being” would want to live. Mr Cummings replied directly to Trump on Twitter, saying, "Mr. President, I go home to my district daily. Each morning, I wake up, and I go and fight for my neighbours. It is my constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the Executive Branch. But, it is my moral duty to fight for my constituents."

The president later accused Cummings and other Baltimore political leaders of stealing and mismanaging federal funds ... without any evidence, naturally.

Elijah Cummings was busy to the very end of his life leading an investigation into Donald Trump. The chairman of the House Oversight Committee was signing subpoenas from his hospital bed before passing away at the age of 68.

Trump losing his mind? - Anosognosia
The fallout from Trump's meeting with Pelosi has taken a new turn. The story from Republican sources present is that Trump was screaming uncontrollably after Pelosi commented that 'all roads in Syria lead to Russia'. Reports from his own camp now suggest he was acting completely out of his mind.

Wild outbursts, erratic behavior, and bizarre fixations are now a daily event for Trump.Aids to Trump say his mood changes from one minute to the next based on some headline or tweet. He becomes fixated on his false claims, for example that Hurricane Dorian was going to hit Alabama. He railed against the media for fact-checking him on the clearly false claim. As Hurricane Dorian made its way to the US, Trump took breaks in between golfing to post more than 120 tweets. "this nonsense has never happened to another President. Four days of corrupt reporting, still without an apology."

ANYTHING that contradicts his view is called 'false news'. Trump becomes aggressive and belligerent when his statements are questioned.
The term anosognosia refers to a person with acute mental illness who may not be making a conscious choice. They may instead be experiencing 'lack of insight' or 'lack of awareness.' Anosognosia is Greek meaning “to not know a disease.”

Early studies of anosognosia indicated that 30% of people with schizophrenia and 20% of people with bipolar disorder experienced 'severe' lack of awareness. For a person with anosognosia, this inaccurate insight feels real and is completely convincing.
Trump's most-repeated claims tend to become  more exaggerated over time. The often repeated story that a top general complained about a lack of bullets is patently ridiculous. Perhaps the most troubling rationale is one that he used in Texas yesterday ... he’s not crazy; anyone who doubts him is. His supporters just need to recognize the madness of his enemies, and then everything he says will make perfect sense.

Trump made at least 26 false claims in his 87-minute speech in Dallas, including a declaration that Texas had somehow profited "billions and billions" from Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
