Trump lawyers as dumb as he is - Trump targeted by Feds again
The DoJ probe has centered on the many schemes from Trump and his allies to steal the election, including the use of slates of fake electors in battleground states won by Biden.
Trump said today that he has received a letter informing him that he is a subject of a DoJ investigation into his efforts to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election. One purpose of the target letter is to advise a potential defendant that they have a right to appear before the grand jury. Its looking like Trump will face federal indictment again, soon.
Trump and co-defendant Walt Nauta filed their response to special counsel Jack Smith’s motion to move the start of their trial on charges related to classified documents and obstruction from August to December of this year. The defendants took a bizzarre position. Lawyers told Judge Aileen Cannon there was no need to set any trial date at all. In their view, the case must wait at least until after the presidential election is held in November 2024. Prosecutor Smith shredded the defense like confetti in a few sentences. Defense lawyers apparently didn't bother to read the law. The Speedy Trial Act, which governs the timing of trials, doesn't allow for excuses to delay adjudication. The judge must set a trial date. Its not optional.
Click to open documents.
Most of Trump's defense arguments involved speculation about difficulties that might occur. Trump's lawyer is Todd Blanche, a New York lawyer who represented him in case of the hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. Attorneys Jim Trusty and John Rowley quit, probably wisely.
If Cannon refuses to set a trial date, Smith can ask the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to force her to do so. An appeal would present Smith with a prime opportunity to ask for a new judge. The inexperienced Cannon has gone outside the bounds of clear law before with Trump. She isn't nearly qualified for this role and that is clear.

Trump recording unveiled - legitimate person
.@chrislhayes: "You'd think this would be a pretty open and shut case at this point, but today the indicted ex-president offered a 12-point refutation of the recording." pic.twitter.com/YrVsD5iEPc
— All In with Chris Hayes (@allinwithchris) June 28, 2023
The recording obtained by CNN begins with Trump claiming “these are bad sick people,” while his staffer claims there had been a 'coup' against Trump. The recording includes new details from the conversation that is a critical piece of evidence in the indictment of Trump over his mishandling of classified documents. The moment when Trump indicates he was holding a secret Pentagon document with plans to attack Iran is the smoking gun. The recording comes from a July 2021 interview Trump gave at his Bedminster resort.
“I don’t know of any recordings that we should concerned with because I don’t do things wrong. I do things right. I’m a legitimate person,” Trump said. “what was said was absolutely fine and very perfectly. We did nothing wrong. This is a whole hoax.”

Trump’s smoking gun recording - Trump indicted again
The unsealed federal indictment charges Trump with 31 counts of “willful retention” of classified records, as well as several counts related to his efforts to obstruct the investigation. The reading is absolutely, positively, damning. Trump is in dire jeopardy. He appears today in Florida and without local counsel. Trump's attempts to recruit new lawyers is failing for some reason.
Trump was intimately involved in the handling of boxes brought from the White House to Mar-a-Lago. Trump was upset that the boxes were labeled with too many details about their contents as he tried to hide them from the government. That text message is the least of Trump's worries. Trump is the first former U.S. president to face federal charges.
The evidence leading to the indictment of Trump includes an audio recording from 2021 in which he talks about a secret document and says, “As president, I could have declassified it, but now I can’t,”
Trump’s own words are the most powerful evidence against him. "Wait a minute, let’s see here. I just found, isn’t that amazing? This totally wins my case, you know. Except it is like, highly confidential. Secret. This is secret information. Look, look at this. … This was done by the military and given to me.”
Trump has been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with his mishandling of more than 100 classified documents. Trump faces 37 counts, including mishandling classified documents and obstructing efforts to investigate the storage of the files at Mar-a-lago. The federal crimes carry a prison sentence on conviction.
Special counsel Jack Smith has a recording of Trump boasting at his Bedminster, N.J., club in 2021 that he had a highly classified multipage document relating to war plans against Iran.
To the sound of rustling papers he shared the substance of the document with others in the room, including some with no security clearance. Trump seems to have been recorded confessing that he knew the classification rules, didn’t declassify documents before leaving office and knew that retaining them was illegal. Reports now indicate the federal grand jury hearing the documents case will meet this week. An indictment could come within days.

Trump indicted
Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts in New York. Judge Juan Merchan warned Trump to refrain from social media posts that could incite violence against officials. The warning comes after Trump has repeatedly lashed out at District Attorney Bragg.
Trump will be arraigned and fingerprinted in New York on Tuesday. Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, marking the first time in American history that a current or former president faces criminal charges.

Trump tax returns
The House Ways and Means Committee now has six years of Donald Trump’s federal tax returns, ending a 3 year legal battle that went all the way to the Supreme Court, which declined to intervene. One of Trump's most closely guarded details is now in the hands of lawmakers. Trump’s taxes have been largely a secret since he first ran for office. During his 2016 campaign, Trump broke with presidential election norms and refused to reveal his tax returns after promising to do so. He made up the excuse of an IRS audit. Its said that tax returns between 2002 and 2008 will reveal virtually no taxes being paid. An expansive New York Times report in 2020 found that Trump paid no federal income taxes in 10 out of 15 years beginning in 2000.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, gave an explanation. “... he didn’t want to have an entire group of think tanks that are tax experts run through his tax return and start ripping it to pieces, and then he’ll end up in an audit and he’ll ultimately have taxable consequences, penalties, and so on.” That is precisely what is happening now as media chase the details. The Washington Post discovered a litany of issues, including that Trump had been donating other people’s money as if it were his own. The dearth of new information has many examing Trump's tax grift, including the IRS.

Trump releases 'unhinged' letter - Insanity Defense?
It was during the Trump Administration that the “Deep State” corruption, and pure hatred of our Country, was fully EXPOSED - No longer just a nasty myth, concept, or idea. This is yet another great achievement, but something must now be done to rid us of this Cancer that is purposely destroying our Nation. There is far more danger from within than anything coming from the outside. We must join together and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!
This would be the latest inside Trump's brain. Here.
Neal Katyal, a former DoJ official, says Trump's response to the House Capitol-riot panel looks like an insanity defense. "I can't see it in any legal way helping him unless he is trying to go for the insanity defense, of which this paper seems, you know, to be some evidence of."
The Guardian has dismantled Trump's many, often repeated fake claims. Here.
Trump released a bizzarre 14 page missive to the House select committee investigating the Capitol riot after it voted to subpoena him over his role in the insurrection.
Trump leads off with "THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN!" Trump explains that the point of his letter is to express his “anger, disappointment, and complaint that with [sic] all of the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on what many consider to be a Charade and Witch Hunt." He didn't say if he would be appearing.
This old man is senile as hell and its getting much worse.
Trump criticized American Jews for what he said was their insufficient praise of his munificence toward Israel, warning that they need to "get their act together" before "it is too late!" "No President has done more for Israel than I have," Trump wrote before saying "our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S." The Jewish Democratic Council of America lambasted Trump. "His threat to Jewish Americans and his continued use of the antisemitic dual loyalty trope fuels hatred against Jews."

Trump: I could declassify documents by thinking about it
Trump insisted in an interview with Sean Hannity that the documents at the center of the Mar-a-Lago probe were all declassified. According to Trump evidence isn’t needed. “You’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified, even by thinking about it.”
"I've not heard that one before ... I don't know anything about the rules for when a president declassifies documents" -- George Stephanopoulos can barely believe it when John Barrasso refuses to say that Trump can't declassify docs by merely thinking about it pic.twitter.com/WticattUtc
Nuclear secrets found at Mar-a-Lago - ‘gamechanger’
A top secret SCI document detailing a foreign government's nuclear capabilities and military defense systems was among hundreds of classified materials seized by the Feds during their search of Mar-a-Lago. It confirms officials worst fears about the intelligence Trump stole. " ... highly classified, restricted access documents about another country’s nuclear defense capabilities stored at Mar-a-Lago is a gamechanger with regard to the risk it poses to our national security. These documents … tells individuals what our capabilities are with regard to intelligence collection related to nuclear programs. More important is it identifies or exposes our gaps with regard to intelligence collection."
Trump attacked authorities at a rally where he called the FBI and DoJ “vicious monsters”. Trump calls Biden an "enemy of the state".
“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more," Trump spewed on Truth Social.

Trump lawyer Christina Bobb talking to Feds about lies
The Supreme Court has quickly rejected an emergency request from Trump to intervene in the dispute over classified documents seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate. Trump had asked the justices to reverse a federal appeals court and allow a special master to review about 100 documents marked classified.
In a brief order, the court denied the request. There were no dissents.
A Trump employee told the FBI about moving boxes of documents at Mar-a-Lago at the former president's direction, according to The Washington Post. The witness account is accompanied with security-camera footage. "Any shadow of a doubt about his guilt is rapidly vanishing." tweeted Harvard law professor and legal scholar Laurence Tribe.
Trump's latest spokesman Taylor Budowich said the report was "continued effort to leak misleading and false information to partisan allies in the fake news." The witness reportedly denied the allegations in their first interview, and then changed the story "dramatically" in a second interview after agents had gathered evidence.
Sources say Bobb wants an immunity deal.
Trump lawyer Christina Bobb, who in June signed a letter certifying that all of the classified material Trump stole from the White House had been returned, is talking to federal authorities about her open lie. She claims it’s not her fault, reportedly telling the FBI that Evan Corcoran, another Trump lawyer, told her to sign it. The FBI’s raid two months later was said to be the result of an informant.

Hunter Seefried buys 24 months for Capitol riot
Widely published photos showed Kevin Seefried with a Confederate flag inside the Capitol after he and his son entered illegally.
Hunter Seefried, 24, stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, with his Confederate flag-toting father. He was sentenced to two years behind bars for his role in the riot. Father and son traveled to Washington from their home in Laurel, Delaware, for Trump's speech at the "Stop the Steal" rally on Jan. 6. They were among the first to approach the building near the Senate Wing Door.

Trump rally speaker a live one - Cynthia Hughes
A speaker at Trump's Pennsylvania rally was Cynthia Hughes, leader of a support group 'J6ers' for January 6 traitors like Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, whose case went viral after the DoJ released photos of him sporting a distinctive "Hitler mustache." This comes as Trump has promised pardons for all his little Nazi involved. Biden in late August rebuked Republicans for their "semi-fascism."
Timothy Hale-Cusanelli was found guilty after being held for "escalation of violence" with his neo-Nazi beliefs. He is Cynthia Hughes' cousin.
Hale-Cusanelli was reported by 34 coworkers that said he was an avowed white supremacist and Nazi sympathizer and spoke approvingly about an approaching US civil war.
They told cops that Hale-Cusanelli made no secret of his extreme anti-Semitic and racist beliefs.

4 years for Capitol rioter Timothy Hale-Cusanelli
A former U.S. Army reservist and hard core white supremacist was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Timothy Hale-Cusanelli was convicted in May on five charges, including one felony count of obstruction of an official proceeding. During the trial, Hale-Cusanelli testified that he was completely clueless that Congress members convened at the Capitol. The judge called Hale-Cusanelli's testimony "highly dubious."
'Cowboys for Trump’ founder removed from public office
A judge has ordered former New Mexico county official Couy Griffin, founder of “Cowboys for Trump” barred for life and 'constitutionally ineligible' to hold public office after he was convicted in the insurrection at the US Capitol.
In June, Griffin was convicted on misdemeanor charges for his role in the Capitol riots. Under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, Griffin is disqualified for life.
Griffin refused to certify local election results.
Griffin instead favoured debunked Trump conspiracy theories about voting machines to openly steal American's votes.
A redacted affidavit explaining the FBI raid two weeks ago has been released. Here.
Trump hasn't been silent, and is this not the nonsensical ramblings of a senile?
"Even though I am as innocent as a person can be, and despite MY campaign being spied on by the Radical Left, the FISA COURT being lied to and defrauded, all of the many Hoaxes and Scams that were illegally placed on me by very sick & demented people, and without even mentioning the many crimes of Joe and Hunter Biden, all revealed in great detail in the Laptop From Hell, it looks more and more like the Fake News Media is pushing hard for the Sleaze to do something that should not be done!"
Trump upset Feds took photo of documents on carpet
Trump is not pleased that his stolen state secrets from Aug 8 are exposed. Naturally he has a response.
Front and center is a document marked Secret/SCI. (Special Compartment Information) Six documents were stamped HCS—HUMINT Control System.
This is the sensitive compartmented information system designed to protect information from clandestine human sources.
Three classified documents were in Trump's desk. The Feds visited Trump multiple times. He deliberately and unlawfully tried to withhold these documents.

Trump wants to be declared 'rightful winner' of 2020 US Election
After his familiar yet bogus claim about how he would have "easily won" if not for "massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country," the twice-impeached ex-president proposed a "REMEDY" in a 60 odd gob of Truth Social posts.
"Declare the rightful winner or — and this would be the minimal solution — declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!" Trump pushed the idea again 14 hours later.
"Declare the rightful winner, or hold a new Election, NOW! Our Country, which is failing badly, knows the 'score,' and will never accept Criminal Election Interference," he wrote at 1:46 a.m. ET.
Charles Cooke wrote in 2021 about Trump's belief about getting reinstated to the presidency and called the idea "otherworldly and obscene."
"This is not merely an eccentric interpretation of the facts or an interesting foible, nor is it an irrelevant example of anguished post-presidency chatter. It is a rejection of reality, a rejection of law, and, ultimately, a rejection of the entire system of American government." Lets suppose Trump is batshit crazy (and getting much worse) from advancing frontaltemporal dementia.
If Trump were progressing past Stage 5 it would explain all, and soon can't be hidden. It would also imply very few years left with even what small working brain material is left.
Video of Trump operatives who breached voting machine - Cathy Latham
CNN video shows a former Georgia Republican Coffee County official escorting operatives, hired by a Trump lawyer, into the county's election offices on the same day a voting system there was illegally breached. Cathy Latham, under investigation for posing as a fake elector in 2020, escorts Trump operatives into the elections office Jan 7, 2021.
Doug Logan
The men are Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan, who led a failed Republican ballot review in Arizona after the 2020 presidential election, and Jeff Lenberg, a computer security consultant. They stole half a terabyte of files from an elections server, memory cards, ballot scanners and other computers.
Voting systems were also compromised in election offices in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Colorado.
700 pages of classified material retrieved from Trump before FBI raid
The National Archives found more than 700 pages of classified material — including 'special access' materials. These are the most highly classified secrets the US government has. They were contained in 15 boxes recovered from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in January. Trump's lawyer then signed an undertaking saying there were no further documents. That was a lie and a crime, obstruction of justice specifically. Authorities grew increasingly alarmed with what was still missing and the threat it represented to national security. An assessment of that threat was already well underway before members of Congress were informed.
"special access programs — do you know how extraordinarily sensitive that is? That’s very, very sensitive. If that were actually at his residence, that would be a problem,” said Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah), a member of the House Intelligence Committee. “Special access program” is a classification protocol above Top Secret. Access to these materials is extremely limited, often to a select group of high-level intelligence and military. Most may only be stored and accessed in secure facilities. All are logged.
It has been reported a rat in Trump's inner circle tipped the Feds off. This space notes the former first son-in-law Jared Kushner has been defending Trump in the news lately, moreso than even his dopey sons.

Anna de Rothschild - Inna Yashchyshyn
Yashchyshyn is the daughter of an Illinois truck driver.
A Ukrainian conwoman posing as a Rothschild has been outed as a fraud after she infiltrated Mar-a-Lago. Inna Yashchyshyn, 33, appeared at Mar-a-Lago functions mingling with the likes of Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham, and others. She held the position as president of United Hearts of Mercy, a 'charity' founded by former partner Valery Tarasenko. Yashchyshyn had two fake passports from the US and Canada with the name 'Anna de Rothschild.' A Florida driver’s license in her name listed a $13m Miami Beach Mansion where she never lived.
The shameless crook has said under oath that she has never used another name and has not broken any laws. One wonders if the Russian speaker viewed any classified US materials.
America has never suffered this kind of ABUSE in Law Enforcement! For the FBI to RAID the home of the 45 President of the United States, or any President for that matter, is totally unheard of and unthinkable. This Break In was a sneak attack on democracy (our Republic!), and was both unannounced and done at a time when the President was not even present. It was for political, not legal reasons, and our entire Country is angry, hurt, and greatly embarrassed by it. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Holy snap we say. We have long suspected Trump was on the fast track for fronto-temporal dementia and here it is. Trump will be thinking he's Napoleon and wearing his underpants on his head pretty soon.
It was thought Rudy Guiliani would be thrown under the bus by Trump in 2019. A body can make book it will happen this time. The FBI seized 11 sets of restricted or secret documents including 1 ultra top secret 'signals intelligence', which are intercepted phone or email communications. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information is a level of classification above top secret. These are among the most sensitive types of classified material the US has. Any 'normal' citizen caught with these documents would be in jail.
The list includes four sets of "top secret documents", three sets of "secret documents", and three sets of "confidential" documents.
Trump pushed back on reports that some of the documents the FBI sought at Mar-a-Lago included information related to nuclear weapons. “Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more. Same sleazy people involved.” Trump said on his 'Truth Social'. The Washington Post reported the FBI was seeking documents containing information on nuclear weapons. Trump is suggesting documents were planted.
Vito Genovese, the 'king of the rackets,' invoked a Fifth Amendment plea more than 150 times in 1958 as a Senate committee accused him of crimes from racketeering to murder. In 1959, his reign as boss ended when he was convicted on narcotics conspiracy charges and sentenced to 15 years in prison. He died there in 1969.
During a campaign stop in September 2016, Trump compared those who invoke the Fifth Amendment to mobsters. The former president invoked his right against self-incrimination a reported 400 times during a deposition at the New York attorney general’s office. In a lengthy, boring statement, Trump blasted New York Attorney General Letitia James as being politically motivated and alleged he "did nothing wrong." Yet again Trump claims a 'witch hunt'.
“These are dark times for our nation” Trump declared when he announced his mansion at Mar-A-Lago had been raided by FBI agents on Monday night. Dorkus Eric Trump gave Fox news his expert take on the raid. The FBI's raid was related to the materials the former president brought to his private residence after his presidency concluded. FBI officers left with 20 boxes of documents.
Trump failed to meet the requirements of the national Archives Act by keeping the documents, instead of turning them over at the conclusion of his presidency. Some contained classified materials.

An 18-month struggle between the government and Trump ended in an F.B.I. search and retrieval operation.
The NY Times is reporting Trump admitted to a Federal crime - deliberately stealing American top secret documents. “They’re mine,” three of Trump’s advisers said that he stated repeatedly when he was urged to return boxes of documents, some of them highly classified, that the National Archives sought after Trump took them to Mar-a-Lago in January 2021.

Trump’s body tics, gait, and forward-leaning posture
Top US General Mark Milley thought then-President Trump's mental state had deteriorated severely after the 2020 election.
He was "certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline..." After the Jan 6 capitol riot, Milley thought Trump was "all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies."
A professor of neurology recounts observable signs of illness. The bent posture evident of Trump is seen in Alzheimer's Dementia suffers, as is the sudden, jerking movements of Trump's right arm. His uncontrolled swaying and forward tilt are obvious. He often grabs his wayward arm with the left one in an effort to keep it under control. Balance and gait issues similar to those observed in Trump can be a sign of degenerative brain disease in the frontal lobes, such as fronto-temporal dementia. Cognition decline in the elderly has a strong influence on gait. Trump has never conceded the 2020 election to President Joe Biden and has continued to push his lie that the election was stolen despite there being no evidence.
Trump's unscheduled visit to hospital has reignited debate about his mental health. These days Trump virtually never finishes a sentence with the idea he started with.
He rambles. The term frontotemporal dementia was suggested more than 8 months ago to explain Trump's rapidly growing inability to 'find' words and make complete sentences. In frontotemporal dementia, portions of the brain's lobes shrink. (atrophy) Progression of Frontotemporal dementia may take as little as 3 years or as much as a decade. It is permanent and eventually fatal.
Around the same time Trump said "my father is German, was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany." Fred Trump was born in New York.
The areas of the brain effected are generally associated with personality, behavior and speech.
Common behavioral symptoms of frontotemporal dementia include inappropriate actions, apathy, or lack of interest or enthusiasm in activities, lack of inhibition or restraint, and compulsive behavior. Symptoms can include difficulty speaking or understanding speech, language recall problems, loss of reading and writing skills and difficulty with social interactions.

Battle of the Billionaires
The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that $5m of Vince McMahon's $19.6m in unrecorded company expenses went to Trump's shuttered charity, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, in 2007 and 2009.
The payments were made in years when Trump — who was a reality TV star on NBC's 'The Apprentice' at the time — made appearances at WWE events, including 2007's WrestleMania 23 "Battle of the Billionaires" and WWE's Monday night showcase "Raw," in 2009. The WWE earlier stated in a regulatory filing that the company had uncovered nearly $20m of McMahon's personal expenses.
