| Nicolas Cage starred as a Johnny Blaze incarnation of the character in the 2007 film Ghost Rider and its 2012 sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Due to copyright issues there will probably not be another Ghost Rider film. There have been countless covers of the song. Johnny Cash's version peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1979.  |
