Mosquito Grizzly Bears Head Lean Man First Nation – Tanya Stone

Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation is an Assiniboine First Nation in Saskatchewan, located in the Eagle Hills 30km south of Battleford.

Population in 2016 was 554, most off reserve.


$250k per annum chief is Tanya Aguilar-Antiman. (tanya.stone@mosquitofn.ca) She is a BATC (Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs) Chief and known as Tanya Stone. She is best described as a self-obsessed narcissist, with a need for attention and admiration. She is said to be manipulative, bullying and creates a toxic work environment in the band office. She flaunts her extravagent personal life often on social media.


She has a reputation for seeking kickbacks from those doing business with the band. There have been no audits for the past 3 years under her tenure. She indicated she was ‘retiring’ and would not seek re-election for another term, but then threw her name back in again. In 2023 she was re-elected to the position of chief with 411 votes.

Current boyfriend is Kevin Littlewolfe of Onion Lake First Nation. Littlewolfe was fired from Gold Horse Casino as well as his position of Associate Director of Public Works at Onion Lake. Its said Kevin Littlewolfe has a sexual assault charge within the past year, registered in Lloydminster Provincial Court.



A flagship project providing 30 building lots on the reserve was announced in July. It was 14 years in the planning. Funding for the project comes entirely through Indigenous Services Canada. Band leadership will decide which families eventually receive homes.
