Laval thug ‘Bobby the Greek’ whacked – bleak

Charalambos ‘Bobby the Greek’ Theologou was recognized as the shakedown king of Montreal. The notorious gangster was rubbed out in a brazen hit last week.

When cops raided Theologou’s home in the wake of a 2019 underworld slaying of his associate, they seized cash, a bulletproof vest, 366 bags of cocaine and financial records. The ledger listed who owed the thug money, including friends, associates and notably, a slew of Montreal eateries. One owed $200,000. His Chomedey Greeks, in addition to drug trafficking, extorted restaurateurs for protection money. At the time he was clipped, cops were monitoring him so closely that there were undercover cops in the Starbucks when the hit went down. A 2013 Parole Board of Canada decision noted that Theologou had been dealing drugs in prison and rated his rehabilitation prospects as ‘bleak’.
