Sandeep ‘Sunny’ Singh Sidhu – Panjaab Transport

Panjaab Transport, recently placed into receivership by RBC who is owed $12m, has been accused of wage theft, driver exploitation, evading environmental regulations, as well as bank and tax fraud. Owner is Sandeep ‘Sunny’ Singh Sidhu. (sunny@panjaabtransport.com) Interim report of Receiver.

8777691 Canada Inc. o/a Panjaab Transport operated from Oakville, and was running a fleet of some 117 trucks. Up to 200 drivers have been ripped off.

Many drivers claiming wage theft cite unpaid HST. CRA denied $2.27m in 2024 HST claims by Panjaab Transport, alleging that those claims were made with related businesses “not engaged in commercial activity.” CRA fined Panjaab $602,025 for “gross negligence” as a result. Singh denies all allegations and said he’s appealing. The receiver obtained corporate profiles of the entities CRA questioned the legitimacy of, and found most of them belong to Singh and his relatives:

The receiver accused Panjaab Transport of using a related entity, Jimmy Truckline, to place liens against its equipment in an attempt to prevent RBC from enforcing its rights as creditor. Ramandeep Kaur, Sandeep ‘Sunny’ Singh Sidhu’s sister-in-law, is owner and director of Jimmy Truckline.

Jimmy Truckline, Palm Transport, and Panjaab Transport are all owned by Singh and/or his relatives. Also related is Trans247 trucks, which has had their emission systems removed. Multiple drivers say Panjaab-branded trucks have also had emission systems removed. This is bad news to creditors, since emission-deleted trucks would require tens of thousands in emission equipment to be reinstalled before the trucks could be sold to recover debts.

Sandeep ‘Sunny’ Singh Sidhu is a screaming conman who’s operation is crashing down.
