Wedding money laundering operations nailed

The U.S.  sanctioned 8 Canadian cryptocurrency businesses, accusing them of aiding the Iranian regime and helping kingpin Ryan Wedding launder drug profits. The U.S. Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said the businesses in Toronto and Vancouver allowed sanctioned Iranian entities to use their services, providing the regime with a financial lifeline and the ability to continue to finance terrorism and proxy groups.
• Diverse Trade Inc. (dba Million Exchange)
• 1380079 B.C. Limited (dba Amin Exchange)
• Top PC Technician Inc.
• NIA Nations Currency Ltd.
• 2397639 Ontario Ltd. (dba Farah Exchange)
• CCC Inc.
• B Galaxy Inc. (dba Cryptoyal)
• Darvish Exchange

The 8 businesses exchange Iranian rials and other currencies for digital assets. OFAC records show that each of the eight companies holds a money services business registration number in Canada. They facilitated transactions with sanctioned Iranian digital asset exchanges and with addresses associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Several of the targets worked with Ryan Wedding.
Wedding used MSBs in the Vancouver and Toronto areas to launder drug proceeds, with couriers moving bulk cash that was then converted to digital assets. According to TRM analysis, the Million Exchange address listed in the designation received USD 120.7 million and sent USD 121.8 million between January 2025 and February 2026. Monthly volume averaged about USD 8.3 million in 2025 and reached USD 19.4 million in January 2026.
