Aaron Piccinetti changes mind on guilty plea - Toxicology Report

Aaron (Joseph) Piccinetti pled guilty in August to two drug trafficking counts that were part of Project Skylark – a large bust that targeted the HA. He was about to be sentenced when he claimed a toxicology report proves he was bent when he admited his guilt, plus he claimed he needed a new lawyer. It is his second delay and it did not amuse the judge. “This has been going on for too long, Mr. Piccinetti,” he said.

HA prospect/rat sues state

The plaintiff is listed as John Doe in the lawsuit filed in Manitoba. He became a prospect with the Winnipeg and Thunder Bay chapters around 1998 and is now in prison on a drug conviction. The court filing says the information the rat shared resulted in the arrests and convictions of "numerous" people, including during Project Sideshow, a bust of 14. The rat says his identity was leaked by the crown after which he received multiple death threats.
The rat is seeking damages for the violation of his informer privilege and right to life, liberty and security under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
