Secrecy over fired scientists from Canada's level 4 lab - update II

Xiangguo Qiu travelled to China extensively to help set up the Level-4 lab in Wuhan. It is said she passed materials such as plasma DNA molecules, which could be used to recreate vaccines or viruses, to the Chinese without approval. When Qiu was escorted out of the Canadian lab in July 2019, all of her Chinese students left with her. Xiangguo Qiu and Keding Cheng have relocated to China.

Documents reveal a shipment of Ebola and Henipah viruses in March 2019 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology from the National Microbiology Lab.
Feds are asking the Federal Court to prohibit disclosure of documents related to the firing of two scientists at Canada's level 4 lab. The documents may reveal why the couple were booted from Winnipeg's National Microbiology Laboratory in July 2019 and fired. Four months previous Qiu played a key role in shipping Ebola and Henipah to China.
Chinese officials revealed COVID on Jan. 7, 2020. Conspiracy theories link COVID, Canada's lab, and the lab in Wuhan. Qiu had dealings with Chinese scientists, including repeated trips to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.National Microbiology Lab

Qiu worked with Chinese government scientists on inventions registered in Beijing and is listed on two patents filed in China. The federal Public Servants Inventions Act says the federal government owns all inventions.
China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs was asked if Qiu and Cheng were involved in espionage on behalf of the Chinese government.
Xiangguo Qiu was born in Tianjin. Qiu received her MD degree from Hebei Medical University in 1985 and came to Canada for graduate studies in 1996.
The list includes two vials each of 15 strains of virus:
Ebola Makona (3 varieties)
Mayinga.
Kikwit.
Ivory Coast.
Bundibugyo.
Sudan Boniface.
Sudan Gulu.
MA-Ebov.
GP-Ebov.
GP-Sudan.
Hendra.
Nipah Malaysia.
Nipah Bangladesh.
Gain of function experiments are when a natural pathogen is taken into the lab, made to mutate, and then assessed to see if it has become more deadly or infectious. These types of experiments are not done in Canada. Gain of function experiments are done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
One of the students brought to Canada by Qiu was Feihu Yan, from the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) Academy of Military Medical Sciences.
In early 2020 Chen Wei, a PLA major general, told Chinese state media that her team worked in Wuhan developing a "core technology that can be used against the COVID-19".
CSIS is said to have urged the removal of the two scientists and their entourage.

Meyer Lansky

Meyer Lansky, known as the "Mob's Accountant", was a Russian-born, Jewish American gangster who, along with Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the National Crime Syndicate. For decades he was one of the most powerful men in the U.S. mafia as a father of organized crime.
Lansky met Luciano when both were school boys. Despite being smaller, Lansky refused to pay protection money and the two boys fought to a draw. Lansky joined Luciano's schoolyard protection racket and the two men became life long friends. He met Bugsy Siegel when he was still a teenager. Siegel saved Lansky's life many times over as the 3 gangsters rose to power. After Al Capone's 1931 conviction for tax evasion and prostitution, Lansky saw that he was vulnerable to a similar prosecution.

Ahead of his time and to protect himself from the same fate, he transferred the illegal earnings from his empire to a Swiss numbered bank account. Lansky eventually bought an offshore bank in Switzerland.
In his later years, Lansky lived a frugal, low-profile, routine existence in Miami Beach.
He dressed like the average grandfather, walked his dog every morning, and portrayed himself as a harmless retiree. Lansky's associates usually met him in malls and other crowded locations. Lansky would change drivers, who chauffeured him around town to look for new pay phones almost every day. Cops tried to convict him of tax evasion in 1970, but Lansky was acquitted in 1974.
Lansky died of lung cancer on January 15, 1983, age 80. On paper he was a pauper, worth almost nothing. At the time, the FBI believed he left behind over $300 million, but they never found it.

John Dillinger killed 87 years ago

John Dillinger was behind bars in the Lake County jail in Crown Point, Indiana in early 1934. His jailers boasted that their facility was escape-proof. Dillinger whiled away his time carving a piece of wood used as a shelf in his cell. He turned it into a replica of a small handgun, painting it with shoe polish. He bluffed his captors and managed to escape. Dillinger's gang was responsible for 10 deaths, three jail breaks and more than 20 bank robberies. At 31 he became America's Public Enemy No. 1.
Dillinger's wooden prison escape pistol sold at auction for $19,120 in 2010.
Dillinger stole Sheriff Lillian Holley's new Ford V8 and used it in a crime spree across the Midwest. He returned to Chicago in July 1934 and sought refuge in a brothel owned by Ana Cumpănaș. On July 22, 1934, cops closed in on the Biograph Theater. Dillinger drew a gun while attempting to flee and was shot down.
Rumors persist that the man killed that night was a double. Dillinger's descendants claim that they doubt it's really his body that's buried. There is no doubt Dillinger was killed outside Chicago's Biograph Theater. The bullet that killed him entered the back of his neck and exited under his right eye.
