US reels in Lockerbie bomber Abu Agila Mohammad Masud

Musud was kidnapped from his Tripoli home by armed men.
US prosecutors now have Abu Agila Mohammad Masud in custody over the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie in 1988. Abu Agila Mohammad Masud made the bomb that blew up the plane and killed 270 people over the Scottish town.
The Lockerbie crash case was kick-started in 2017 with a copy of an interview in which Masud admitted building the bomb with two others; Abdel Baset Ali al-Megrahi and Lamen Khalifa Fhimah. Masud's confession came after Khadafy’s fall in 2012.
