Accused Kelowna killer Ka-Mikosit Favelle gets bail

Ka-Mikosit Favelle will be released from custody as she awaits trial. She is charged with second-degree murder, criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving causing death. A crash on Aug. 19, 2022 killed cyclist Adam Briand-Lawrence. It appeared a motor vehicle accident. A 'complex' cop investigation took over a year. Favelle's charges are designated as a “K-file” in online court records. That indicates an offense involving intimate partner violence. Favelle had remained in custody since September.
