Bernie Checkosis, aka Bernz Marie holds two positions at Little Pine First Nation, both of which pay over $85k per annum. (tax free) She is both Recreation Director and director of a Family Wellness Program. She also controls the purse strings for Band money that’s supposed to flow for post-secondary education.
