Quebec HAMC on Canada Run – update

Canada Run in Calgary resulted in cops ejecting 145 people out of different establishments under a Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act (GLCA) rule that allows police to remove people from businesses if they are gang members, or wearing gang symbols. Cops also dished out 10 tickets for traffic and parking offences. There were no arrests. Most of the gathering was held at the Hells Angels’ Calgary clubhouse on 84 St. S.E. where a circus tent was set up. As usual the biker gathering did not result in major problems. Events like Canada Run are meant to promote the club’s interests while conducting business. That goal excludes creating public spectacles and the bikers know to stay on their best behaviour.

Quebec bikers were spotted on their way to Calgary for Canada Run 2025. There is always a specific order in any HAMC run.

The road captain and charter president will remain at the front of the group. Then the vice president and sergeant at arms. From there, the bikers align based on seniority and rank.

Older members will stay closer to the front, followed by newer members and ending with prospects in the back. They will often pull over together to avoid disrupting this order. If one biker gets pulled over by a cop, all will stop. It’s mandatory on Canada Run for all 34 Canadian Hells Angels chapters to send representatives. Cops expect between 500 and 1,000 people to attend.
