Daljit Singh Thind taters up –  plata o plomo

Foreclosure proceedings were initiated by Earlston Mortgage Corp on December 23, 2024 against 3138 W 51st Avenue and 1542 W 28th Avenue in Vancouver. The registered owner of both homes was Daljit Thind’s wife, Harinder Thind, while Daljit Thind and D-Thind Development Ltd. was guarantor.

There were second and third mortgages registered against the properties. The Thinds stated that 3138 W 51st Avenue had been their primary residence for nearly 12 years and that the 1542 W 28th Avenue property was a secondary home. Foreclosure was stalled by a forbearance agreement that the Thinds defaulted on almost immediately. Order nisi of foreclosure was granted on April 3, 2025, with outstanding debt at $17,125,891.27, and daily interest of $7,820.52. Redemption date — the day by which the debtor can pay off the debt to halt the foreclosure — was June 16, 2025.

Nobody has been answering the phone or returning e-mails at Thind Properties for months. Lender KingSett Capital has four projects by Thind Properties under creditor protection. Thind’s debt to KingSett Capital is about $500 million. Daljit Singh Thind was among the first Khalistani beneficiaries of Sinaloa Cartel capital and was closely connected to Sami El-Helou.

The Sinaloa Cartel called its loan at some point and Daljit Singh Thind was required to repay it. Or else. Thind avoided his or else by ripping everybody off. He cheated the sicario, for now.

$17.7 million was missing 9 months ago, including over $10m that should have been paid toward debt to KingSett. Thind received another $7.5m in GST funds from the sale of condos and failed to remit the money to the CRA. Unsecured debts have not been paid. Some of Thind’s stolen loot went into Punjabi films.

‘Je JATT’ translates to “I am Jatt” referring to the high caste Jatt clan. ‘Vigarh Gya’ in English translates to “He became angry”. Thind is predominantly a Jatt clan.
The last news was in May when son Paul Thind was sued by a construction company that did millwork for distressed Thind Properties Ltd. In a notice of civil claim dated May 22, Mercroft Construction Ltd. is seeking $111,771 plus interest of $10,493 based on a personal guarantee for money owed for the embattled Highline project in Burnaby’s Metrotown. There are at least half a dozen lawsuits before the courts.

Folks buying Thind’s shitboxes have been ripped off. A dive on google reveals virtually all saying Thind buildings are poor quality and repairs on deficiencies have not been made. “2351 Beta Ave Burnaby, absolute disaster here burst water pipes no heating/cooling system working, no elevators working. Be very careful people.”

“For me it is important to give back. In India, we work with Gurdwara Ram Nivas in the Village Dodher, District Moga.” That would be a Sikh temple in Punjab. It is the same area where KTF leader Arsh Dalla (Arshdeep Singh Gill) hails from and is a center of Khalistan terrorism. This one is ripe for a midnight move back to Punjab with the loot.
