On Sunday Ecuador extradited Adolfo Macías Villamar – ‘Fito’ to the United States. This marks the first time an Ecuadorian has been extradited to the U.S. directly from Ecuador. Cops in Ecuador recaptured the country’s most wanted fugitive 6 weeks ago. Villamar was tracked down to an underground bunker below a luxury home in the city of Manta. The bunker was fitted out with air conditioning, a bed, a fan and a fridge. Fito escaped from La Regional prison in Guayaquil in January 2024 with the help of at least two guards. He won’t be escaping from U.S. custody.
Moll Veronica Briones Zambrano posted selfies and videos on social media despite the manhunt for fugitive boyfriend Jose Adolfo Matias, better known as Fito. Zambrano was fingered as Fito’s girlfriend in October 2021 after she spent a week boinking him in his jail cell. She was intercepted as she tried to leave the prison in the middle of a riot wearing a guard’s uniform.
