| Maxine DeHart is a Kelowna councillor. Her LinkedIn reveals she has spent the past 30 years as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre in Kelowna. In 2023 it was sold for $32m to KTF heavyweight Gurjit Singh Jhajj and Durali Properties. 2850 Old Vernon Road is 20 acres and owned by Gurjit Singh Jhajj. Mortgage is held by Prospera Credit Union. It changed hands in 2020 for $2.2m. It is rented by an equestrian group. Cherry trees were planted, but died. Ground was then planted in strawberries, which were abandoned. The property is across the street from the polluting plant of Sandher Fruit Packers at 3231 Old Vernon Road. The new owner is S.
